  The school is good but some teachers are ignorant and if a student asks for a simple request politely at an appropriate time most are turned away with a harsh cold no. Also sometimes the people at the front desk make us wait outside in the cold and claim it is "Hot" outside. Other than that there are many amazing teachers at the school who help you get a better understanding of what you are learning. Also the school has worked hard to improve the school and the students appreciate that. Everything in the school is clean now and again they have improved many things at the school. I am a 6th grader and I went to Oak Ridge last year, they gave us a brief tour because of renovations. It is much better. There are some ups and downs at Conrady but so far my experience has been great. There are many more opportunities such as their Sports Teams,Band,Drama,Declamations and Choir just to name a few. These are the reasons why I'm rating this school at a four.

  The food is literally criminal. This is straight unlawful. The teachers are oblivious. Cmon guys. This is supposed to be preparing kids for the future.

  Although I graduated from eighth grade last year, I still think it's right to explain why I gave the school such a low rating. Here are some reasons why:
  
  1. THE SCHOOL WAS NOT SAFE! I cannot stress this enough!- As a former student, I felt like everyone was under threat. For example, one year someone brought a knife to school, and everyone grew frantic about it. Another time a girl grabbed another by the hair, and started to slam her head against a locker just because of a boy. Talk about safe. . .
  
  2. The food was absolutely disgusting. Some people may say that it's just an opinion, but I think it's fact; one time, I bought a slice of pizza, and the cheese was so burnt you could still see the strand! Also, I purchased a chicken sandwich, and the bun was hard.
  
  3. The school was not clean!- The gym floor was always covered in dust, and the locker rooms reeked of perfume. Along with that, the gym locker room was always humid, and there were a lot of mice going around.
  
  4. Most of the teachers were good at their job. . . but there were a few who didn't; although knowing that the honors courses were too fast, a couple of my math teachers did a poor job explaining things. That being said, many had to rely on the internet instead of school.
  
  5. There were many bullies at Conrady, and you couldn't have a personal opinion on a subject without having rumors spread about you. If someone thought something true of a person, they'd tell their friends, and the student's life at school would be ruined.
  
  The list goes on and on, but these were my top five reasons - keep in mind that they were from the years 2015 - 2018, so they may (or may not be) outdated.
  
  I still have hope for Conrady, and prays it gets better in the future. Besides, they are already making an effort to change things. I wish the students good luck.
